Customer acquisition, built as a machine

Talos was the first machine ever imagined. We build the modern version.

A customer-acquisition machine for your business: the funnel, the ads, the tracking, and the instant follow-up — built in days, operated for you, measured to the dollar. Exclusive leads with your name on them, not a shared list from Angi. You answer the phone. The machine does the rest.

The myth, for the curious: in Greek legend, Hephaestus forged Talos — a bronze automaton that circled Crete three times a day, tirelessly guarding the island while its people did everything else. Mythology's first machine. That's the job description we build to.

We run this machine for our own business first.

Most agencies sell reports about other people's money. We sell a machine we also feed ourselves — our own company runs on the exact system we build for clients, and its numbers are on the table. Early, honest, and updated as it runs:

10–16%
Ad click-through rate, launch week
industry norm: 3–6%
$3.37
Average cost per click
industry norm: $5–9
< 60 sec
Lead-to-first-text response time
industry norm: hours, if ever
100%
Of spend tracked click-to-outcome
most businesses: ~0%

These are our real numbers from our own live campaigns (launched July 2026), not a stock photo of a dashboard. The machine is young and we publish what it does — including what we fix. Ask for the full walkthrough on your call.

How the machine works

STEP 1 — FORGED

We build your machine in days, not months

A conversion funnel designed for your customers, a tracked phone number, instant-text follow-up, and ad campaigns engineered keyword by keyword. Hosted on our infrastructure — nothing for you to install, break, or maintain.

STEP 2 — PATROLS

It works your market around the clock

Ads run, visitors answer a 30-second quiz, and qualified prospects land in your phone with their answers attached — while every new lead gets a text from your number within a minute, before your competitor has checked email.

STEP 3 — LEARNS

Every dollar reports for duty

Click-to-customer tracking means we know which search, which ad, and which keyword produced actual business — so the machine gets cheaper and sharper every week. You see it all in plain-English reports.

What you get

  • Conversion funnel — built for your business, tested on ours
  • Ad campaigns — built, launched, and optimized weekly
  • Tracked phone number — with instant-text response to every lead
  • Leads in real time — to your phone, pre-qualified by the quiz
  • Plain-English reporting — what you spent, what it bought, per lead
  • No long contracts — we keep clients with results, not paperwork

Why this exists

I'm Michael. I built this machine for my own insurance agency because everything on the market was either a black box, a boiler room, or a $5,000-a-month agency that couldn't tell me which dollar did what. So I engineered the whole loop myself — funnel, ads, tracking, instant follow-up — and it worked well enough that other business owners started asking about it.

TalosLeads is that system, built for your business and operated for you. I only take clients I don't compete with, I show my own numbers, and the machine's work is measured to the dollar — because that's the machine I wanted to buy and couldn't find.
